Who we are
Central began life as a city-centre congregation in 1841, but in 1908 moved to a beautiful new sanctuary in the nearby Durand district. What makes Central a vibrant congregation however, is not so much the building as the people. Though located near the centre of Hamilton, members come from all over the city and beyond. From many walks of life, this congregation of just over four hundred members seeks to worship God, Sunday by Sunday, with reverence and relevance. The 10:30 am service is supplemented by special services throughout the year.

We need passion
We need passion in our faith! Instead of praying, 'If I should die before I wake', we should pray, 'Lord wake me up before I die!'
