Who we are
Welcome to Broadway Baptist Church
We are one of the Island's largest churches located in Douglas with a membership of over 100 with a regular weekly Sunday morning attendence of 200 with almost half comprising of our thriving children and youth work.
During the week we meet in small groups for Bible study, prayer, socials and to generally build closer relationships and support networks with each other.
We believe God has called us to be:
"A COMMUNITY LIVING TO MAKE JESUS KNOWN"
The work and ministry of the church is organised within five departments each with its own focus and action statements as follows:
Discipleship We long to see a growing hunger for God's word accompanied by an obedient response and development of a Christ-like character.
Mission We strive to be active in sharing Jesus by word and action where we are and where we are sent .
Worship and prayer We desire to know God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, worshipping Him in our daily lives and exalting Him as we meet together.
Finance and administration
We aim to facilitate the activities of the Church by co-ordinating communications and finances, and providing a range of support services.
Pastoral We want to build a loving and supportive family structure of mutual care, where everyone is accepted, befriended and valued and where God is meeting real needs.
