Who we are
WE BELIEVE
In the Divine Trinity, that God is One, but manifested in three Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, being co-equal and co-eternal. (Mat 28:19, John 15:26, 2 Cor 13:14)
In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:1, John 8:58, Phil 2:5-8) In the Bible as the infallible, inerrant Word of God. (John 17:17, 2 Tim 3:16-17)
That salvation is the free gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Rom 3:21-24, Eph 2:8-9, Tit 3:4-7)
That believers are to be baptized in water by immersion as a direct command from the Lord which is symbolic of a Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Mat 28:19, Rom 6:3-4)
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with tongues, given as a gift to all believers who desire it after they are saved, as promised by the Lord. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:1-6)
That marriage is a holy covenant before God between a man and a woman only, and mysteriously represents Christ and the Church. (Gen 2:18-25, Eph 5:25-33, Mark 10:6-9)
That God provided for healing of physical ills through the atonement of Christ, and this promise belongs to all believers. (Mat 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24, Luke 5:15)
That Jesus Christ is coming again for His Church, and to judge the living and the dead. (Acts 17:30-31, 2 Thes 2:8, 2 Tim 4:1)
That those who physically die in their sins without accepting Jesus will be hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire without chance for repentance. (Rev 20:15, Mat 25:41)

Leader Bio:
Pastors Bill and Tricia Yanney founded Family Worship Center October 7, 2007. Bill grew up in Sioux City and graduated from North High School in 1979. He attended the University of Iowa and in 1985 was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Sensing the call to the ministry, upon graduation from college with an M.A., he attended RHEMA Bible Training Center where he received 2 years of formal ministry training. A short time after graduating from RHEMA, Bill met Tricia and they were married in 1995.
Tricia is native to Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Florida Southern College with a B.A., and RHEMA Bible Training Center in 1996. Together they have been missionaries in Spain and Peru, where they planted churches and pioneered and directed ministers’ training schools for 9 year under Mark Brazee Ministries. Bill was also an associate pastor at his home church, Family Worship Center of Lakeland, Florida for 1 1/2 years.
In 2007, the Lord led them to come back "home" to Sioux City and pioneer Family Worship Center, a young and thriving church on Sioux City's north side. Pastor Bill and his wife are ordained ministers of the Gospel through Family Worship Center Churches Inc. They have four children: Emily, Austin, Megan, and Lucas. Â
