Welcome to "THE CONNECTING CHURCH" - the First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge. We purpose to connect God, family, and community. Simply put, we want to be unavoidable to those in need. We believe that Jesus Christ is the answer, solution, and hope for every family and every individual.
We are a family oriented church with ministries designed to connect everyone, at all levels of life. We encourage individuals to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge is an exciting place of worship that promotes each individual having a personal experience with Jesus Christ. For over 70 years, our church has served this region of Northeast Ohio.
FACT is comprised of a consistently growing body of believers who love to worship God together. Individuals from various walks of life gather each service to experience the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ. The welcoming atmosphere, dynamic worship, anointed preaching, and variety of ministries collaborate to create a connection to God, family, and community.

First Apostolic Church History
The First Apostolic Church began services in a tent meeting on Bank St. in Akron, Ohio in 1931 under the leadership of Pastor Norman. The congregation built their first church building at 829 Home Avenue. After a few years of growth, the church relocated to 211 Seiberling Street under the leadership of Pastor Yoder and Pastor Lennington. In 1959, Frank Poling became Pastor of the assembly. Under the direction and vision of Pastor Frank Poling, the church thrived, and a few years later, the church purchased a property located at 199 South Avenue in Tallmadge, Ohio. In 1968, builders broke ground, our current facility was built, and in March of 1969, our first service in Tallmadge took place.
Throughout the years, FACT has maintained a burden for the community. Through the leadership of Pastor Poling, a bus ministry was born. From the North, South, East, and West, families would be transported to our services to hear the Word of the Lord. Evangelism, missions, giving, and pursuit of God propelled FACT forward, initiating revival and continuous growth. Through prayer and fasting, church members continually sought the face of God, creating an atmosphere for the miraculous.
The First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge was founded upon the truths of the Word of God. From the beginning, the Spirit-filled message of Acts 2:38 has been demonstrated in our services. Through repentance, water baptism in Jesus name, and in-filling of the Holy Spirit, many have received salvation and grown in their walk with the Lord. Preaching the same mesage, the church, under the leadership of Pastor Ken Bulgrin, continues to thrive today!
