Pastor Travis is a gifted leader, pastor and teacher who has a deep love of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. He is the husband to Amber Joy for 14 years and the father of 4 children: Roman, Justice, Courage and Shalom. His formal education includes a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from the Denver Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University. Before coming to FBC Brewster in September 2014, Pastor Travis pastored a church for over 10 years in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pastor Travis and Amber Joy feel a calling by God to help people in the Tri-State area taste and see the grace and love that they have found in Christ. In everything they do, they lead people towards one single name . . . JESUS.

Abide in my heart
Come, Lord Jesus, and abide in my heart. How grateful I am to realize that the answer to my prayer does not depend on me at all. As I quietly abide in You and let Your life flow into me, what freedom it is to know that the Father does not see my threadbare patience or insufficient trust, rather only Your patience, Lord, and Your confidence that the Father has everything in hand. In Your faith I thank You right now for a more glorious answer to my prayer than I can imagine. Amen.
