Leader Bio:
The Rev. Tim Boyer (Pastor Tim) joined the church staff here in the fall of 2009. Called to the ministry through a true sense of “God’s Call”, Pastor Tim first served at the Presbyterian Church of San Luis Obispo (7 years) as a youth pastor before receiving his Masters of Divinity at San Francisco Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1990. He also served at Petaluma Presbyterian (6 years) and Redlands Presbyterian (14 years).
Pastor Tim and wife Laura have been married over 35 years. Their family includes a son, daughter, son-in-law, and a grandson. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Pastor Tim’s favorite activities outside of ministry are opportunities to gather inspiration from nature by hiking, golfing, basketball and exploring the Lake Tahoe area.
