Who we are
Gateway Church of the Nazarene began in 1989 in Temecula, as a church plant under the leadership of Rev. Kenn & Marsha Coil.
We were initially called Rancho California Neighborhood Church of the Nazarene. Temecula Valley Neighborhood Church of the Nazarene was next, and finally we became Gateway Church of the Nazarene.
Gateway's congregation pitched in to build our current building, and we moved to the Murrieta campus in May 2001. The Coils were visionaries and had the gift of asking. Many miracles marked the time Gateway benefited from their pastoral leadership.
In recent years, Gateway has continued to reach the Temecula Valley and the world for Jesus through AWANA, Vacation Bible Schools, mission trips, and seasonal outreach ministries.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Wes is a native North Carolinian, though he has lived in Colorado and in Germany in association with his military service in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University and was ordained and pastored in the N.C. West District of the Wesleyan Church for thirty-two years. He has most recently served as interim Head of School at First Wesleyan Christian School & Pre-school. Pastor Wes is married to the love of his life (Terry). Wes and Terry have three adult children and nine grandchildren.

Exit Interstate Freeway 15 at Kalmia. Go West and then turn north on Jefferson Ave. Continue on Jefferson to the top of the hill (about 1.8 miles). Gateway Church is on your right as you round the curve.
From Clinton Keith
Exit Interstate Freeway 15 at Clinton Keith. Go West to Palomar. Turn left on Palomar, left on Grizzly Ridge (about .4 miles), round the bend at Jefferson, and Gateway Church is on your left.
From Nutmeg
Turn North on Jefferson Ave, go up the hill. Gateway is on your right as you come to the bend.
