Holy Trinity Barkingside - Service Times
Sunday
Said Holy Communion
This is a quiet reflective service lasting approximately 40 minutes. It consists of prayers, bible readings, a short “thought for the day†and Holy Communion. It is a music-free service.
Many who have managed to get up early enough have commented on how quiet and peaceful they find this service, and the most surprising people have found that it helps them connect with God. But you do have to be up at 8 a.m. on a Sunday Morning…
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes
Sung Eucharist
This is a friendly traditional service with the music led by organ and robed choir. It lasts just over an hour and is followed by refreshments in Parish Hall.
This service is particularly popular with those for whom traditional Church of England worship is part of their upbringing - but whatever your age or background you are very welcome here.
if you are gifted musically, we are always looking for new members for our choir and we are also looking for an organist/musical director at the moment, so do contact us for more information.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Family Mass
This is a lively service with guitars, drums, robes and candles.
The service lasts about an hour and a half. Children are in at the beginning of the Mass, then those who are old enough go out to their Sunday School groups. They come back in at Communion and feed back what they have been up to.
We are a congregation with lots of families and a good mix of people of ages who prefer a more contemporary style of worship.
Every Sunday at 11:15 AM for 1½ hours
Tuesday
Mass
A quiet reflective service lasting around 45 minutes. 3 modern hymns are sung to backing tracks, a short sermon is given and communion is celebrated.
This is an ideal service for those who cannot make Sundays or who are unable to come along at daytime during the week.
Every Tuesday at 7:30 PM for 40 minutes
Wednesday
Mass
A Said Eucharist with one hymn. Service sheets are used and occasionally Public Worship with Communion by Extension is used. It usually lasts about 35 minutes.
Every Wednesday at 9:45 AM for ½ hour
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.
