Who we are
Welcome to Life! We are a vibrant, Spirit-led, Jesus focused family rooted in the heart of Claremont. We are passionate about impacting those around us with the Good News of Jesus and His kingdom through our lives, wherever He may lead us. That’s the heartbeat of life.
Wherever you’re at, we would love to walk with you as you walk with Christ!
Our church isn’t a building. We are the church – us as a whole, walking through life together with our eyes set on Jesus.
We want to do more than know each other’s names and shake each other’s hands. We want to get to know each other, grow together, work together, through the good times, and through the not-so-good times.
Just as the church is not a building but the people, we are not restricted to the four walls of the Life Centre but are continually out in the community. Whether we are helping out at the Claremont Winter Carnival or taking part in Claremont Public School’s “Springfest”, Life Church is an active member in the community.
We are called to be more than just observers in God’s kingdom. He wants us to play an active role. At Life Church we want to equip everybody for growth—in their own lives and in other’s—with spiritual tools and support.
We’re paving a path for the future. Not just our own future, but the future of those who come after us.
By leading, equipping, encouraging, and spending time with the next generation we’re preparing them to go farther than we’ve gone ourselves!
A life to the full leaves no room for the mundane! We love going on adventures, playing games, telling stories and laughing… a lot. We always make time for fun and invite you to come along for the ride.

Leader Bio:
Craig and Stacy came to Life Church in 2002 with four young children, and hearts to see this area tangibly know the love of Jesus. In the years that followed, one more child was added, and their five children have grown into young adults and teens, who, by God’s grace are passionate for Jesus too! They’ve been blessed to see many others come to faith in Jesus, baptized, and continue their faith journey. It is a hard thing to see people turn away from the incredible gift of God. That really is the heart of these two…to see the next generation fully alive in Christ and equipped to live out this truth with life giving impact! Their ideas of quality time can look drastically different: invite Stacy for tea, and call Craig if you’re working at something. They both love to learn, and delight in discovering over and over the truth of God through Scripture, prayer, and prompting of the Holy Spirit.
God placed Ephesians 4:12-13 on their hearts for the ministry: “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Life Church Service Times
Celebration
Sundays 10:00am
We’ve been asked, “why do you call your Sunday gathering ‘Celebration’?” That’s a valid question. First response would be, we gather together to ‘Celebrate’ what God is doing in our lives, and encourage one another in faith, as we: worship, pray, hear God’s word, and fellowship. Secondly, we really have a good time—we celebrate—as any family when they get together for a special occasion. There is an expectation as we gather on Sundays, seeking God together.
Coronavirus: Information
Life Church will be meeting online only over the next few weeks beginning this Sunday, March 22. A link will be put out on Saturday evening that will allow you to connect and join in on Sunday morning at 10am. We’re thankful that at this time we can still gather together as a community of faith.
It’s been wonderful to see so many enjoying the outdoors this past week. The smiles of neighbours and a heartfelt wave are like someone inviting you out for coffee…it reminds us that we are created for community! So, enjoy your families, phone a friend, write the letter you’ve been meaning to! Don’t forget – keeping your distance physically doesn’t mean that your heart holds back. So, think about who you can call, laugh and pray with today!

Ignite
Ignite is the young adults group of Life Church. Here is normally where we would make bad puns about fire starters or maybe tell you we were passionate for the next generation. But we have had enough talk, haven’t we? Ignite is a group of young people who actually want to make memories together, form legit friendships and impact the world around. This isn’t about events or cliques or pushing some agenda. Ignite is about finding somewhere to finally just be you.
Ignite Nights
We meet together every other Saturday at 5:30 to share a meal and have a good time. Wherever you’re at, we would love to have you! If you’re looking to get deeper into the Word, we also have some bible study time at 4:30.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
