Leader Bio:
J. D. Charlot was born to the parentage of the late, Mark & Jeri Charlot in Houston, TX. He has been described as a unique and gifted child from birth. Pastor Charlot has been preaching since the young age of 5. In 2017, he celebrated 25 Years of continuous preaching ministry.
A 4th Generation Pentecostal, his spiritual heritage was developed in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. where he was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Intrigued by the Holiness Standard and Exuberant Worship found at a local United Pentecostal Church, a Pastor witnessed to him concerning the Truth found in Acts 2:38 and he was baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He joined the Tabernacle of Praise Original Glorious Church of the Apostolic Faith in Houston, TX under the leadership of The late, Pastor Naomi Preston and later Praise Cathedral Original Glorious Church where he served as the Janitor, Armor Bearer, Administrative Assistant, Associate Pastor, and Executive Pastor. Being found faithful in his local church, The Diocesan of the Southeastern Diocese of the Orignal Glorious Churches appointed him: Diocese YPWW (Youth) President, Special Assistant to the Diocesan, Diocese Expeditor & Convention Coordinator.
A lifelong scholar, Overseer Charlot is currently pursuing a degree in Mortuary Science and plans to pursue graduate studies in Theology. He has worked for well-noted funeral firms as Director of Operations.
Officially Licensed at 10 & Ordained as Elder at 12; J. D. Charlot has had the opportunity to minister and serve as a Prophetic Voice in several churches across the nation as a National Evangelist and was subsequently appointed District Elder & National Youth President in 2014, at the time making him the youngest District Elder in the Apostolic Faith. He also founded two churches, Citadel of Praise Apostolic Church in Austin, Texas in 2011, and Powerhouse of Deliverance Church in Houston, Texas in 2014 and serves as Diocesan of the General Council of the Powerhouse of Deliverance Assemblies.
Most importantly, J. D. Charlot is the loving husband to the Queen of his life, Lady Latosha Charlot, and together they have one amazing princess, Little Miss Jael Daisy Charlot.
