What We Believe
Pentecostal Life Center is a Bible-based church. We are Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs on the inspired word of God. 2 Timothy 2:15 reads; “ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Based on Scripture, we believe the following: We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion, We believe there is only one God Deuteronomy 6:4, He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. God has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4 We believe everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesiains 2:8-9

Pastor Wayne Collins has been in the ministry for 28 years. He is a graduate of Texas Bible College class of 1990. It was there that his passion for biblical, sound truth, became the driving point for his ministry. After graduation he and his wife moved to the country of Guatemala, Central America and served 1 year in the Associates in Missions program of the United Pentecostal Church Inc. While there, time was spent leading the Bible College, teaching, and preaching throughout the country in rallies and conferences.
Because of his passion for reaching the lost, upon returning from the foreign field, Pastor Collins and his wife founded Tabernaculo De Vida in Liberty Tx. From there he pastored a Church in central Texas, and in 1997 became a full time instructor at Texas Bible College in Houston TX for 2 years. Pastor Collins then went into full time evangelism for several years, preaching and teaching in revivals in America as well as Mexico, and Central America. In 2010 he co-pastored Tabernaculo De Vida in Houston TX with Bishop James Kilgore for one year to help him until a full time pastor was found.
On September 11, 2011 Pastor Wayne Collins and his wife Vicki along with their 3 kids; Ashley, Chase, and Gage, founded Pentecostal Life Center in Richmond TX. The church was started in a conference room of a law firm, and from there has grown into a church that is thriving and reaching out to people trying to find their way to the presence of God. Pentecostal Life Center is now in its third location since it's beginnings! On August 31, 2014 the church closed on the piece of property where the church is now located. Great things are happening here at PLC, come and be a part of it!
