Pastor Gary E. Hankins, B.R.E., Th. M
Pastor Gary Hankins, a native of Detroit, MI, has been a believer since June of 1977. Pastor Gary Hankins is a graduate of William Tyndale College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a B.R.E. in religious education and a masters in theology. Th.M. Pastor Hankins is the founding pastor of Resurrection Fellowship Church and God has given him the gift of pastoring, preaching and teaching. He has been pastoring for over 25 years.
Cassandra Hankins MA LLPC
A native of Detroit who now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cassandra serves in ministry with her husband Gary E. Hankins Th.M., who is the Senior Pastor of Resurrection Fellowship Church. Cassandra loves being a wife, mother and a grandmother, but most of all she is a believer who desires to please her Lord through her God-given life. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 7 years old and has dedicated her life to serving Him.
Cassandra is a licensed professional counselor, teacher, and conference speaker. By God’s grace, she has completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Health from Grand Valley State University, and a Master’s of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. A diligent worker, she currently heads the Women’s Ministry and the Counseling Ministry at her church. In addition, she is also a Community Program Supervisor at Spectrum Health Hospitals where she develops and implements health and wellness programs for women. A sought after speaker at many marriage, singles, and women’s conferences and workshops, Cassandra uses her God-given gifts to challenge and encourage as she speaks the truth in love.

Resurrection Fellowship Church History
Pastor Hankins came to Grand Rapids, MI in July of 1991 to start a Baptist church. The church started meeting in Sheldon Complex, then Kentwood Recreation Center and on September 15, 1996 a building was purchased. The church officially moved in May 1, 1997. They entered the building with approx 20 people. The building was in very poor condition and they set out to repair and beautify the building. The church currently resides there. Today, they are an active and vital church in the community.
