Who we are
Sherwood Park Church of the Nazarene is a welcoming Christian community that has been meeting in the heart of Sherwood Park for more than 25 years. We meet every Sunday at 10:00am at 1380 Sherwood Drive to worship with a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary music, prayer and truly Bible-based teaching from Pastor Doug Sedore, as well as a fun and dynamic children's program beginning at 10:20am.
The church is also involved with a number of outreach and ministry projects (including Building Hope Mission in Edmonton's Beverley area and Seed of Hope in South Africa), as well as, organizing various fellowship and learning opportunities for our congregation and community through small groups and other social events.
If you are on fire for Christ and looking for a place to delve deeper into his Word, dig into ministering and sharing the truth of his Love or just come to worship and grow in your relationship with Jesus, join us on Sunday or drop us a line for more information.

Under 12s:
KIDS PROGRAM
Kids trek is a program for children 6‐10 years old. This program takes place on Sunday morning from 10:20 – 11:15. It is an activity based program with stories, games, crafts and a snack.
Family worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. The first part of this service is for the entire family. The children are dismissed at 10:20 for the Kids Trek program. This service features praise music, prayer, fellowship and a message from the Bible. Our worship is informal and we encourage you to participate.

Youth Group
We are a small youth group that meets every Friday. We are lead by Greg Stover and Lisa Janzen. We also have a Sunday morning program during service. Any one is welcome to attending if you are between 12-18.
For every Friday youth group it is recommended that everyone bring about 3 dollars to help fund events for the future. Thanks

Help my unbelief
Dear God, help my unbelief. When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me. I forget that you have helped me through my trials. I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe. I forget that you are feeling my pain with me. I forget that you love me, I forget that I am important to you. Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love. Heal my hurting soul. Thank you for staying with me even in my unbelief.
