Who we are
St. Mary’s Parish is a Roman Catholic community where everyone is welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Join us at Sunday Mass for a warm greeting, wonderful music, and inspiring teaching about the relevance of Jesus to our lives.
Our Mission
To worship God, proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, lead others into relationship with him and grow together as his disciples.
Our Vision
Transforming Worship. All-embracing Love. Fearless Evangelism. Full Discipleship. Kingdom Impact.
Our Values
We value Whole-Hearted Worship, Openness to the Holy Spirit and Sound Preaching and Teaching. We also aspire to Energetic Evangelization, Relational Discipleship, Warm and Welcoming Community Life and Service to the Poor.
Vital Components of Our Parish Life
We have five parish dynamics which help us realize our vision.
Worship
Worship honors God. We look to honor God individually and as a community through worship, which includes participating in the Sunday Mass and other sacraments, as well forming the habit of a personal prayer life and seeking opportunities to worship God in our everyday lives. In our Worship, we will see a transformation in our encounter with God.
Community
We are made for relationship. We are one family and committed to share life as brothers and sisters in Christ. In community life we strive to live out the Gospel standards to relating to one another – in love, forgiveness, honesty, encouragement, correction and support. As a community, we do life together – this includes small groups, coffee after Sunday mass, and meeting the needs of those in our community. In our Community, all are cared for and loved.
Discipleship
A disciple is a person who is baptized and has made a conscious decision to be in a personal relationship with Jesus and to continually learn from him. It is a way of life, not just consumption of information. We consciously and intentionally live our lives as Jesus asks us to, day by day, moment by moment. In our Discipleship, we will live daily a Christ-like way of life. It be a live lived to the full!
Evangelization
We believe Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life”. We respond to his call to share the good news of Jesus with others and invite a response from them. We seek ways to build relationships with others and provide opportunities for them to meet Jesus. We want to reach those who don’t know him. We exist for this purpose. In our Evangelization, our passion for Christ drives us to share Him with others; it will be fearless.
Apostolate
We believe that God has a purpose for each individual and has called each of us to a task that he has prepared for us. He has given us each special gifts to help us in this call. We seek to learn about individual gifts and find the place where we can best serve. In our Apostolate, we give all to the growth of the Kingdom of God.

Leader Bio:
I grew up in Pembroke, ON and have been Catholic my whole life. I have 3 brothers, one of whom is also a priest. I worked on a berry & vegetable farm when I was younger. I entered the seminary when I was 18 and was ordained a priest in 2002.
When I was first ordained, I was the associate pastor at St. Mary’s for 4 years. It’s nice to be back! I’ve also worked as the Companions of the Cross Vocations Director, Chaplain at York University in Toronto and Director of the Catholic Charismatic Center in Houston, Texas.
I’ve been the Pastor at St. Mary’s since July 2019. As pastor, I preach and celebrate the sacraments; help train our ministry leaders and lead our amazing Pastoral Council, Finance Council and Leadership Team. I hope that I inspire people to know Jesus and live according to His word.
