Who we are
Welcome to St. Michael and All Angels!
We are a richly diverse and deeply united community of Christians in the Episcopal Church (known in other countries as the Anglican Church).
We are different colors and ethnicities with different incomes living in a variety of neighborhoods – Lilburn, Lithonia, Snellville, Stone Mountain and Tucker. Most of us drive three to ten miles to get to church. Why?
Because St. Michael's provides room for all kinds of people to question, to grow, to learn, and to serve.
We are united in our desire to share enriching worship and Christian formation, joyous fellowship, meaningful service in the church and the world, and kind and loving mutual care.
Come and see!

Lord, teach me to listen.
The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart. Let me get used to the sound of Thy voice, that its tones may be familiar when the sounds of earth die away and the only sound will be the music of Thy speaking. Amen.
