Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration Service and Picnic
19th June to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday we are having a picnic in the Churchyard.
After a service in the church commencing at 12.00noon, the picnic will start from 1.00pm to 4.00pm Please bring your own food, we will provide drinks and entertainment,and of course seating and tables. You are very welcome to come for the entertainment, even if you do not wish to partake in the picnic.
The entertainment will include the Daventry School Band, Balloons, face painting, treasure hunt/trail pass the parcel and lots more

The Watling Singers (Musical Director Hilary Dolan) were founded over 30 years ago initially to meet and sing for pleasure but they have since become well-known in the locality and beyond for concerts, evensongs, weddings - anywhere that a choir might be needed. The group is 15 strong at present and specialises in mainly unaccompanied music stretching across five centuries - from Byrd to Beatles. Practice nights are Tuesdays in the Chapter House from 8 - 9.30 pm, coinciding with school terms.
