St Peter’s, Beeding and St Nicholas, Bramber
We are an inclusive Anglo/catholic to middle of the road, Church of England Christian community. Worship over the next few day’s forms a vital part of what we are and what we believe. We welcome anyone of any denomination, of faith or none to journey with us and discover Christ this Eastertide.
Saturday 19th Noon. Soup and bread in the GBH, our church hall. Eat a simple lunch with us.
Palm Sunday
9.30am Meet in Bramber, The Street by the Old Tollgate and process to St Peter’s collecting rubbish to make Golgotha as we go. 10am Eucharist with the dramatic reading of the passion...no sermon :)
Monday, St Peters, 8pm Compline with Rev'd John Challis. A quiet mediative service for the end of the day.
Tuesday, Chichester Cathedral, Noon, Blessing of Oils service for the whole Diocese - lifts available.
Wednesday, St Peters, 8pm Compline with Rev'd John Challis. A quiet mediative service for the end of the day.
Maundy Thursday
8pm Eucharist with the washing of feet at St Peter’s followed by a silent vigil until 10pm. Preacher Rev’d Stephane, Curate of the parish.
Good Friday
9.30am Liturgy of the day at St Peter’s with venerations of the cross and simple Eucharist (no wine). Preacher James McGuire, Reader of the parish
2.30pm Stations of the cross at St Peter’s with Rev'd John Challis, Rector of the parish.
3pm Hot cross buns and tea in the GBH, church Hall. A chance to relax together.
Holy Saturday
10am St Peters; Building of Easter garden for children and young people.
7pm The Vigil, St Peters. Come and listen to how God saves his people through the Old Testament and then the New Testament.
A simple said service reading the bible together.

6am Dawn Eucharist at Bramber Castle. Preacher Rev’d Stephane...yes we know the clocks change but Jesus rose through the night not at a convenient time to suit us!
