Leader Bio:
Reverend Baine Palmer has been the transition minister at Unity by the Bay since November 2018. His strengths lie in helping ministries in a transition period between spiritual leaders, which is where UBB is right now.
Last fall, Marianne “Mahala” Connally let us know that her work at UBB was complete and that it was time for her to move into the next chapter of her full and engaging life. We said a fond farewell in early November, after 16 years of her loving leadership at UBB. The following week, we welcomed Reverend Baine into our community.
Baine comes to us with 30 years of experience as a Unity minister. UBB is the third church that he has shepherded through a ministerial transition. The others were in Minnesota and North Carolina. His permanent home is in Kansas City, near Unity Village. He has been affiliated with Silent Unity, which accounts for the peace that he carries and the warmth he so generously shares.
As we enjoy Baine’s spiritual guidance and benefit from his administrative leadership, we are also searching for our next permanent minister. Baine will be with us until that process is complete.
