Who we are
Victory Memorial United Methodist Church is a member of the Oklahoma Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Church in the United States and throughout the world. We are located in the downtown area of Guymon, Oklahoma which is a growing and increasingly diverse community. Through worship, education, and outreach, we seek to make an impact on our community for Jesus Christ. The core purpose of our church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We average around three to four hundred in worship on Sunday morning. Our three worship times on Sunday morning are at 8:30 a.m., 10:50 a.m., and our Spanish Language one at 12:30 p.m. in our Sanctuary/Worship Center at the corner of Sixth and Roosevelt. The main entrance to our Worship Center is on the west side of our building on Roosevelt between Fifth and Sixth streets.
We have seven adult Sunday school classes available with more coming soon and a dynamic children and youth Sunday school program. Our Sunday evening youth program averages around thirty in attendance. We also have active men and women's groups. Our focus is to bring the good news and hope of Jesus Christ to those who hunger for His love. "Come-as-you-are" to our worship services held on our church campus that includes buildings for worship, Christian education, community activities, a mother's day out program, a kindergarten, a pre-school, a clothing ministry, social assistance ministries, recreation, and four off-street parking lots.

Lord, teach me to listen.
The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart.
