Who we are
What We Believe
Loving God. Loving Others...as we worship, connect, grow, go and give.
Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church is a Christian church. This means that we hold to the core beliefs of the Christian faith:
We believe in the triune, sovereign God. We believe in the Father, Creator of the universe We believe in Jesus Christ who was God on earth in human form, who died, and was raised from the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God's presence in us and with us. We believe that the Bible is the authority for our faith and life.
Our church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Being Presbyterian means:
We follow a representative form of church government. We see ourselves as part of the larger Christian community which extends through the world. We believe God takes the initiative to draw each of us into a close, fulfilling personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We believe God gifts us and calls us to active participation in a local church.
We invite you to join us in exploring God’s call in your life and how your gifts may be released in the loving, Christian community that is WHPC.
