Who we are
Welcome to Central Pentecostal Church in Central London. The ministry of our church is to co-operate with God in His building of Christian character in everyone who attends the church. We pray that God will equip them to serve our generation and to be ready to meet with the Lord Jesus when He returns.
The church is affiliated to Assemblies of God. We are a multi-cultural church community with people from many nations worshipping together. Central Pentecostal Church History
Central Pentecostal Church (so called because of its proximity to central London), was founded by Pastor Bernard Porter with his wife Ida in 1936, as directed by the Lord. The meetings were originally held in an upper room in the Paddington area and later relocated to Harrow Road.
In 1982 Pastor George Thomas continued the work until his retirement in 1994.
In November 1996, Pastor William Morson became the pastor along with his wife Primrose. They are the current leaders.
