Our purpose, as a New Testament church, is to reach unchurched people and introduce them to Jesus Christ. We believe the best way to accomplish this is for each of us at FC Newburgh to be fully engaged and reaching out to people around us.
FC Newburgh Mission – to see lost people saved and saved people transformed into fully devoted followers of Christ.
FC Newburgh Vision – to see YOU fully engaged, making disciples of family and friends.
We offer many opportunities for engagement either through Projects & Partnerships or serving on a ministry team. We’d be glad to talk with you about using your gifts and skills in an area you find fulfilling.

Kevin’s parents nurtured a spiritual curiosity, which led to an earned ministry degree from Lincoln Christian University, which lead to working alongside some incredible church leadership teams in Illinois, Kentucky, & Indiana.
Kevin is convinced God’s church has an awesome responsibility and opportunity to be faithful to the gospel. His greatest desire is to be faithful to share Jesus Christ with this generation and the generations to come.
Outside of ministry he’s blessed with an incredible family: Julianne, Isaac and Eve, Elijah, and Naomi. He enjoys sports, learning more about the world God has created, and great conversations.
When it comes to favorite verses of Scripture he tends to like the inspired ones…all of them! But if you need a reference then 2 Timothy 3:16-17 will do.

Every church has a story. Ours is that we began in 1979 with a small group that had a vision for reaching Newburgh for God. That is what we continue to do today. We’re comprised of a wide variety of faith backgrounds with a bond of faith in God. We know we’re not perfect, but forgiven through God’s love and grace.
As an independent Christian church we are fully autonomous and are governed by a group of Elders; men who meet the Biblical qualifications for leadership and are elected by the congregation. Family and community are very important to us.
