NOT on the Sunday after Christmas
Every second and fourth Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Breakfast Service
an informal service at the back of the church with breakfast, newspapers, fun for all, aimed at everyone wanting to come to find out more about God but never quite made it through the door .... come and bring everyone, children of all ages welcome!
Every first second and third Sunday at 9:30 AM for 50 minutes
Holy Communion (CW)
Sung holy communion from Common Worship with a choir.
Every first and third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Morning worship
Morning worship (from Common Worship / New Patterns of Worship) intended to be inclusive and relevant to all.
Every second Sunday at 11:00 AM for 50 minutes
Family Worship
Short service which aims to be family-friendly and inclusive, usually with some lively songs.
Every fourth Sunday at 11:00 AM for ¾ hour
Wednesday
Holy Communion
Once a month, said holy communion usually from the Book of Common Prayer but occasionally from Common Worship. Usually attended by the Mothers' Union and intercessions are led by the MU group.
Every first Wednesday at 9:30 AM for 40 minutes
morning prayers
A half-hour time to read some scripture (usually a Psalm) and thank God for the blessings he gives, followed by prayers for the parish, the benefice, the people in our community and the sick.
Not on the first Wednesday of the month, when there is a communion service instead.
Wednesday at 9:30 AM for ½ hour
Messy Mums
Messy Mums is a group for mums, dads, carers and grandparents with babies and toddlers at St Mary’s Church, Lenham.
Drop in any Wednesday in term-time from 10.30 - 12.00 for real coffee, tea, chat and friendship plus craft, music and interactive storytime.
There is a variety of toys, games, craft table, puzzles and books for children to enjoy as well as a few parenting books available on various subjects of child development. There are hot and cold drinks and biscuits for you to enjoy while meeting other parents and carers in a friendly environment.
During the morning we have an interactive story time with singing and instrument playing before going back for more play time!
