Who we are
Trinity UCC is relational in nature and has both the comforts and familiarity of our traditions and the openness of mind and heart to welcome the new and accept challenges to grow in understanding and action; so whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, we welcome you to bring your whole being before God’s grace and love and to enjoy the fellowship of God and God’s church.
However, this is not merely a Sunday supper or social club, we encourage and support each other with living the Christian faith in the world that knows too little of its values. We celebrate the life and works of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and wrestle together when we struggle with being true to the image in which each of us was made. We ask God to continue imaging us into existence so we can fulfill our true purpose and contribute to the purposes God intends for us and all of creation.
We take seriously the Christian mandate by Christ to visit the sick, feed the hungry and assist the poor, to forgive others, to seek and promote justice and proclaim the deeds of God in Christ.
In time, we hope you will join us in living our God’s will as discovered and to responsibly and passionately direct all our aims into fruitful actions of growth, compassionate service and prophetic justice.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Eternal Spirit, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father, and to his deed we testify: He calls the worlds into being, and creates man in his own image and sets before him the ways of life and death. He seeks in holy love to save all people from the sinfulness of sin. He judges men and nations by his righteous will, declared through prophets and apostles. In Jesus Christ, man of Nazareth, our crucified Lord, he has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death reconciling to the world himself. He bestows upon us his Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the Church of Jesus Christ binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues, and races. He calls us into his church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, to baptism and eat at his table, and join him and his passion and victory.

Driving Directions to Trinity UCC
Travel/Directions Tips
Parking
We have two parking lots, including a paved lot in the front of the church that has three large and clearly marked handicapped accessible spaces closest to the door and the railed ramp which leads to it. We have one door in the front and easy to find. The front lot holds approximately 28 spaces. The second lot is in back of the cemetery adjacent to the church and holds another 18-20 spaces across a grassy lot with some gravel. There is a clear and paved but uncovered walkway (about 70 feet) which cuts through the grass connecting to the front lot and front door.

Trinity UCC History
Founded in 1847 as the New Union Lutheran and Reformed Church, Trinity UCC continues within the historic tradition of the German Reformation, seeking to serve God and humanity today while looking forward to the future with trust and hope. Trinity's church bell and steeple are the oldest west of the Schuylkill River, having called worshipers to divine service for over a century.
