DESCRIPTION:Schedule of Services Our services are normally in Romanian language (in English by request only, or as needed). 9:30 AM Matins Sunday Morning 10:15 AM Divine Liturgy (Faithful wishing to receive the Holy Communion must confess first) Sunday Morning 6:00 PM Great Vespers with Litia (5:00 PM on Saturday evening; 4:00 PM on Sunday evening). Eves of Great Feasts 9:00am - Matins (8:00am in August); 10:00am - Holy Liturgy (9:00am in August) Mornings of Great Feasts 7:00 PM Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts. On the Fifth Wednesday, the Vigil Matins of the Great Canon of St. Andrew of Crete is celebrated instead. Wednesday Evenings in Great Lent 10 AM Akathist is served on the following lesser feast days: 26 Oct (St Demetrius), 8 Nov. (Archangel Michael), 30 Nov. (St Andrew), 6 Dec. (St Nicholas), 12 Dec. (St Spiridon), 7 Jan. (St John the Baptist), 30 Jan. (Three Hierarchs), 23 Apr. (St George), 21 May (SS Constantine and Helen), 24 June (Nativity of St John the Baptist), 29 June (SS Peter and Paul), 20 July (Prophet Elijah), 29 Aug. (Beheading of St John the Baptist), and on the Day of the Holy Spirit (Monday after Pentecost). On 1 Jan. we follow the Sunday schedule.
