SUMMARY:St Benedict Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Benefice Eucharist Fifth Sunday services are united over our benefice, held at each church in turn. Times vary from 10am. Every fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour Shared Worship at the URC A service at the URC (near the top of the High Street on the south side). This service is led by the URC and it is our joy to join with them. Usually non-eucharistic. This happens during even numbered months only. In odd numbered months the URC comes to us (see separate entry) Every second Sunday at 10:30 AM for 50 minutes Parish Eucharist A part-sung eucharist using modern language Common Worship. No creche or Sunday School, but there is a play area for children at the back of the church. Every first Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour Shared Worship with the URC A non-eucharistic service shared with Glastonbury United Reformed Church. This service is at St Bens in odd numbered months only. In even numbered months it is at the URC (see separate entry) Every second Sunday at 11:00 AM for 50 minutes Café Style Church Fellowship and informal worship shared around tables with tea, coffee and biscuits. Followed by a simple lunch. Every third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour Parish Worship Every fourth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour Tuesday Morning Prayer A short said service Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for 25 minutes Thursday Mid-week Eucharist A eucharist using modern language from Common Worship. Sometimes includes a short address. No music. Every Thursday at 10:30 AM for 40 minutes
