SUMMARY:St Mary Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday BCP Holy Communion Held monthly, this quiet and reflective early morning service uses the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Every first Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes Holy Communion For those who like a more traditional service, this service uses the standard Anglican Communion services from ‘Common Worship’ (Orders 1 or 2) and is accompanied by organ and robed choir. The first Sunday of the month is Morning Prayer. Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour Morning Worship For those who like a more contemporary, informal family friendly service, this is our largest service. Accompanied by the music group, the children join us for the first part of the service, before going to their groups (The Light Factory). The first Sunday is usually a Family Communion. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes. LIFE Together Led by Dr Julie Robb & Revd Ray Porter, our 2 'inhouse' Theologians, this is an opportunity to explore God's Word in greater depth. Held on the first Sunday night of the month, starting October 2013 Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1½ hours Taizé Service A quieter Mediative Service using music from the Taizé Community. Starting September 15th 2013. Every third Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour Tuesday Craft Group An informal Craft group that makes various items for the annual Christmas Fayre. Term Time only Every Tuesday at 2:00 PM for 1 hour Wednesday Holy Communion This mid-week, music-free Common Worship Communion service provides space in the middle of the week for quiet reflection Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for ¾ hour Little Stars Toddler Group Toddler Group for Children aged 0-4 years. Term time only Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for 2 hours Friday Friday Clubs Two monthly Friday night Children's Programmes for Reception-Yr 2 and Yr 3 & 4. Cost £1 per child. Rock Solid Youth Programme for School Years 5-8 (Aged 10-13) held fortnightly on Friday nights. Cost £1 + up to 50p for Tuck Shop per Young Person.
