SUMMARY:Wendover St Mary Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Holy Communion at St Annes, Wendover Holy Communion using Traditional Language, said service. For other Sundays, the service is held at Wendover Christian Centre, St. Anne's Church, Aylesbury Road, Wendover. Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour Holy Communion at St Mary's, Wendover A communion service including music and hymns in an established style using up to date language. This may appeal to those who are familiar with formal Anglican worship. Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour Parish Communion at St Mary's Our weekly major service and worship, usually led by our Vicar, Revd Mark Dearnley, but with different people preaching each week. Every Sunday, the children start off in the church and leave at the Gradual hymn to join their Junior Church groups (except on weeks when there is a Children's Service or All-Age communion. Everyone is welcome to join us - we have over 150 people worshipping together each week. Each Sunday, except the last Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour Junior Church at St Mary's, Wendover Our Junior Church is split in a number of groups depending on age. Some of the groups meet in the St Mary's Centre while the older groups meet in Wendover House School. The children start off in the service and then join their groups during the first hymn. During Communion Services the children return during Communion and go up to the altar for a blessing. There is also a Children's Service which is usually on the fourth Sunday of the month, six times a year, when they stay in church all the time and are involved in the service. in term time Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour Children's Service There are six of these special services every year.
