Myers FL. (1961) Pastor Cole found the Lord as a child and received a call to ministry shortly after being filled with the Holy Spirit as teen. He met and married Amy (1980) while attending Southeastern Bible College. Their full time ministry took off in 1984 traveling the US assisting an evangelist. In 1986 Pastor Cole and Amy came to Central Assembly where he assisted Pastor Roger Casey. Pastor Cole took on the position of lead pastor in two churches between 1991 and 2005 in Forty Fort (Wilkes Barre area) and Wellsville near Harrisburg. In 2006 God once again opened the door for Pastor Cole to return to Central Assembly. I grew up on the Gulf side of southern Florida so I had sand and salt water in my system as a child. Learning to hunt and fish came as soon as I could walk. I still love the outdoors...my family and I spend a week or two each year in the shadow of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon soaking up the beauty and solitude of God's creation. Still today some of my best quiet times with God are while perched in a Red Oak tree pursuing Whitetail deer with a bow. I attended Southeastern Bible College where I met, fell madly in love and married Amy in 1980. Six years later God brought Mark, Tyler and Emily into our home. We now have two beautiful daughters-in-love and September of 2015 will bring the next milestone as we are expecting our first grandchild! Our time traveling with Evangelist R. F. Myers helped develop a passion for the atmosphere of revival. Being part of the gifts of God on display night after night changes you. From worship to praying, preaching and certainly the altar we thrive in the overwhelming presence of God. That is what I want you to experience when you attend Central Assembly...the overwhelming presence of God. As a church our mantra is building a ministry 'Where Everybody is Family.' Our desire for you is from the first time you attend you will feel the warmth of God's presence expressed in passionate Pentecostal worship and be treated like family. The hope is that you will leave changed by that encounter and you will invite others to take this wonderful journey with you. Surely when you find something real good you want to share it - a powerful encounter with Jesus is ‘real good!
