MILITARY SERVICE: Retired: Master sergeant Desert Shield / Desert Storm Vet Humanitarian Support: Operation Support Hope Rwanda EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in social work / Minor Psychology University Texas El Paso Currently: Bishop Israel and Haydee Muñiz are the Senior Pastors of the Las Cruces Church of God in Las Cruces New Mexico. Bishop Muñiz served for a combined 14 years as district overseer in the New Mexico/ El Paso church of God Southeast District. He is also assigned to the state credentialing board. Bishop Muñiz served as associate pastor for Ministry to the Military in Mannheim Germany from 1992-1995, he also served as the Hispanic coordinator for all the Christian servicemen centers in Germany during that time. He pastored in El Paso Texas the Northeast Church of God from 1996 to 2005 and served as the ministry to the military representative in El Paso district. Bishop Muñiz Served For four years as Center Director of the New Life Christian Center in San Juan Puerto Rico from 2006-2010.
