NOTE:Since he was not a religious person and had no prior spiritual experience, he put his mystical experience in the back of his mind as he pursued his studies at the University of California at Berkeley and then at University Pacific- McGeorge School of Law. Tom had been practicing law for about two years in Fresno, California, when he had a second experience, this time a calling to ministry. He begins studying and practicing Science of Mind and Spirit beginning in 1973. In 1984 he became a minister of Science of Mind and Spirit. In addition to his Juris Doctor Degree, he was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2003 and earned an academic doctorate in Religious Studies in 2006. In order to build a strong academic foundation, he studied the complete works of Dr. Ernest Holmes and the complete works of Thomas Troward.(who had a greater influence on Ernest Holmes than any other person) He has published a summary of both of these studies known as The Sourcebook of Science of Mind and The Complete Works of Thomas Troward. During the 1980s and 90s Tom taught many classes, including seminars and ministerial training. In 2003, he began teaching distance-learning classes on the internet. By 2014, he had created more than 20 distance-learning classes and helped train numerous ministers on line. Tom has served on the Board of Directors of Religious Science International and was on the formation committee and the Board of Directors for the Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hefferlin Foundation which gives grants to worthy individuals and organizations fostering the teaching of Science of Mind and Spirit. He also presently serves on the Centers for Spiritual Living Education Committee where he is dedicated to working towards a common curriculum for all spiritual centers teaching the Science of Mind and Spirit. His personal vision is: “I am a teacher of compassion and wisdom for the transformation of planet earth.” Specifically, he is dedicated to awakening individuals to their Divine Individuality and Original Artistry in order to facilitate coming of peace on our planet. He absolutely believes in and is committed to the process of lifting people out of lack and limitation and into the majesty of their true being. He hopes to inspire you to join him.
