NOTE:As spiritual leader, Pastor Richard has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He has a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies (ordained in 1991) and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He and his wife Patty have served at South Union Church of God for over two years. They have three children and four grandchildren. Over the years, Pastor Richard has ministered in four states and now also serves as Chaplain for one of the area’s major hospitals.. He is passionate about missionary work and has a heart for the lost. The Bible has a lot to say about music and the nurturing of children in the ways of the Lord -  Patty’s role is to lead the church’s worship of God in a way that matches the character of God. Patty is an accomplished musician with a Masters Degree in Music and Arts who also teaches music in the public school system. Patty combines her love of music and children in sharing her gifts with the church.
