NOTE:For over 25 years, Jeff has served God through the local church as both a pastor and church planter. He is passionate about helping people flourish by living the life God envisioned for them. At Sugar Land Methodist, Jeff focuses his time on the ministries of preaching and teaching, pastoral care and counseling, strategic leadership, and staff development. Jeff is a lifelong learner and continues to read and pursue educational opportunities. Jeff has earned master's degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div) and Houston Graduate School of Theology (M.A.C) as well as a doctorate from Southern Methodist University (D.Min.). He is continuing to pursue full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Once Jeff and Paula arrived in Fort Bend County, they never left. Jeff served six years as associate pastor of Sugar Land Methodist before being appointed to plant a new church in Sienna. He faithfully served at The Harvest Methodist Church for seventeen years building a vibrant and impactful congregation. In 2021, Jeff was invited to return to Sugar Land Methodist as the Senior Pastor. Jeff has been married to Paula for over 30 years and they have two adult children, Jackson and Victoria. Paula and Jeff love to travel, spend evenings on the patio, or stream the latest documentary or action adventure.
