ORG:The Anglican Parish of Minden, Kinmount, and Maple Lake
NOTE:Rev. Canon Joan has been serving at the Parish of Minden, Kinmount, Maple Lake from 2011-present. Priested in 2006 in the Diocese of Algoma, she was called to the Diocese of Toronto in 2011. She was installed as a Canon in St James’ cathedral on January 21, 2018. Joan brings the experience of serving as the ACW Chaplin for the Diocese of Toronto, is a member of the Executive Council, Budget Working Group, Area Council, and Social Justice Committee. She is chaplain of the Minden Legion. She has taken courses in church building, Interfaith Social Reform (SARC), innovative missional outreach programs, Threshold Ministry, Missional Leadership Program (Wyclifffe 2016), and Biblical Storytelling. Joan is an avid reader and in her spare time enjoys playing the harp and tap dancing.
