NOTE:Rob Davis grew up in north central Nebraska and attended Kearney State College where he majored in biology with a wildlife emphasis. After graduation, he went on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ where he served for three years at Rice University in Houston, Texas. It was there that he met fellow staff member Trudy Hansen, and they were married in 1984. In 1985 they moved from Texas to Illinois where Rob went to seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. From there he went to DePaul University in Chicago and got a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He then worked as a software engineer for the next 27 years. ​ In 1997, with four children and a fifth on the way, Rob and Trudy moved to southwest Missouri. In the spring of 2003, Rob led a Bible study in Springfield, MO that became Christ the King Church in the CREC in 2004. He was ordained as an elder there in 2005 and served there for 15 more years. In November of 2020 Rob planted Trinity church, another CREC church, where he is currently serving as pastor. Rob and Trudy have five grown children and two grandchildren, with a third due at the end of November, 2023. Rob enjoys time with family, wood turning, and working on projects on their small farm.
