Alexandra Presbyterian Church History
Alexandra Presbyterian Church, Brantford, Ontario was organized in 1845 as the Wellington Street United Presbyterian Church. In 1878, a new church building was erected and the name was changed to First Presbyterian Church, Brantford. The name was again changed to Alexandra Presbyterian Church in 1901, when land was purchased on the corner of Peel and Colborne Streets and a new church was built. In 1912, this building was transformed into a Sunday School and a new church was built next to it. The congregation of Alexandra Presbyterian Church voted to remain within The Presbyterian Church in Canada at the time of Church Union in 1925. We have an active Sunday School.

May your light illuminate our hearts
Eternal God, this holy night is radiant with the brilliance of your one true light. May that light illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds. May the hope, the peace, the joy, and the love represented by the birth in Bethlehem this night fill our lives and become part of all that we say and do. May we share the divine life of your son Jesus Christ, even as he humbled himself to share our humanity. Amen.
