All Nations Southern Baptist Church of Toronto History
In 2011, Pastor Jolly M. Ampong a church planter minister from the Philippines for over 3 decades both in Mindanao and Negros Oriental, Philippines, and his wife, Mary Jane Ampong pioneered the ANSBCT. They went through a year of counseling conducted by Pastor David Smith and Pastor Andrew Lamme who were the church planting catalyst for the Ethnic group of SOBA or Southern Ontario Baptist Association (S0BA) under the umbrella of the Canadian National Baptist Convention (CNBC). Pastor Jolly & Mary Jane embraced and adapted the challenge in achieving CNBC’s goal to plant 1,000 Southern Baptist Churches coast to coast in Canada in 2020.
All Nations Southern Baptist Church of Toronto had its first worship service on the 7th day of October 2011 in an apartment rented by Ampongs at 2-80 Neptune Drive, North York, Ontario, attended by (4) four believers include the following:
Pastor Jolly Ampong Mary Jane Ampong, (wife) Shirley Laroza and Nemia Catig
The first Divine Worship Service was held in one bedroom because there were only 5 non-believers who occupied the living room during that time.
The efforts and leadership of Pastor Jolly Ampong and his wife Mary Jane under the guidance of God was an instrument in the growth of ANSBCT ministry bringing eleven(11) people in (2) two years. Attendance increased 24 and guest attended services. They opened up activities to include Sunday school, Midweek Prayer services & Saturday Prayer Meetings, and other activities like baby dedication, cars, apartment warming, and fellowship as well. As everyone encounters life’s trials, ANSBCT members encountered challenges at the early stages but God in His mercy and amazing grace delivered the church from issues aroused. God was the strength of its members as the church experienced changes in leadership with the new administrator when attendance declined to 9 people in May 2013. Iren Toledo was also appointed as new church Secretary, a month earlier a person name Harry Tang submitted him to the first water baptism.
As every one of us has experienced trials and tribulations in our personal Christian life so did the ANSBCT. The church encountered ups and downs but God is our Deliverance to bring us through. He is our amazing God who is the Source of our strength.
May 2013, the church experienced changes of leadership beginning with a new administrator. Recently, church attendance has decreased in number from 24 down to nine. Nine believers remained faithful and continuously looking forward to the growth of the church. Harry was first baptized in this church.
2014, God provided a larger place of worship and on a lease, at this time an average of 30-45 people gather for services, Sunday school, Breaking of Bread and Prayer, and some other similar events. Fulfilling what is stated in Acts 2:42-47.
January 2017, with limited space and increased attendance, Saturday group worship service was opened for people who do not join regular Sunday Service.
In March 2017, the 8 members of ANSBCT went on a mission trip to Bais City, Negros Oriental, Philippines for school Evangelism, the group will able to Evangelized 4 high school campuses and some other Elementary school students. Total results more or less 2, 000 individuals accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour in their lives.
Pastor Jolly & Mary Jane Ampong took a vacation from April 21-May31, 2019. Jolly has baptized 6 individual believers in partnership with the Lighthouse Fellowship as well as the Senior Citizen Get Together with more or less 350 senior attendees and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior.
As we reflect on God’s goodness, how He has blessed us and kept ANSBCT for 8th years now. We give praise and thank the Lord for His faithfulness through the years. May we continue to serve our Living God and commit ourselves to follow Him as our personal Lord and Saviour through the power and by the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
God is so good, He provided us a new little big place that his people comfortable gather together as a church, glory to God.
Today, another milestone in the life of ANSBCT Moving Forward in the Plan of God toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, The leadership of the church urges everyone to take our responsibilities seriously for the glory of God.
Thank you very much and God richly bless us all!

Teach me, O God, to use all the circumstances of my life to-day that they may bring forth in me the fruits of holiness rather than the fruits of sin. Let me use disappointment as material for patience: Let me use success as material for thankfulness: Let me use suspence as material for perseverance: Let me use danger as material for courage: Let me use reproach as material for longsuffering: Let me use praise as material for humility: Let me use pleasures as material for temperance: Let me use pains as material for endurance.
