Who we are
We are a diverse Church family and we strive to pursue Jesus in unity together. At a Sunday Morning service you can expect to be engaged in worship, community, Biblical teaching and prayer.
Our congregation has a wide variety of tastes so our worship reflects that. Our teams play everything from modern contemporary worship to bluegrass. We are a community who genuinely love each other, you can expect to be warmly welcomed into our family. Each week one of our pastors brings a Biblically-based talk on a wide variety of topics that affect our lives. We believe that prayer is foundational for all we do, so you can expect to engage in times of corporate prayer during our services.
At our service you can expect to be loved and accepted for who you are, and you can expect to grow in your relationship with God.

Leader Bio:
Tim Bergmann is the lead pastor at ACC. Some of Tim’s favorite things about ministry are being with people and dreaming great big dreams of the future together. He loves how God chooses to work through us even though we are broken and fallen, and how God uses His word to comfort and guide and encourage and convict.
Tim and his wife, Jennifer, are very excited about moving into the community of Sylvan Lake, and becoming a part of life at ACC!

The church was established in January of 1993, initially meeting in the Sylvan Lake Community Center
In 1996 we relocated to the former BHL Lumberyard and services were held in the renovated retail space. In 2004 we moved into a new building on the same property, our current location.
We started holding worship services in Eckville, AB in November 2011, as our second location.

May your light illuminate our hearts
Eternal God, this holy night is radiant with the brilliance of your one true light. May that light illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds. May the hope, the peace, the joy, and the love represented by the birth in Bethlehem this night fill our lives and become part of all that we say and do. May we share the divine life of your son Jesus Christ, even as he humbled himself to share our humanity. Amen.
