Asan Church of Christ History
How The church Started...
The history of the church is the story of the Bible.
Jesus died in AD 33 and not long after that, on the Day of Pentecost, was the first day of the church. The events of that day are recorded in Acts chapter 2. The history of the beginning of the church can be witnessed by reading the letters of the New Testament. The church that was in existence during the first century of our present calendars is the church that we are a part of. It is Christ’s church. We follow the teachings of the Bible as they are written and worship the way that they did since the beginning of the church itself. This is why we are called the Church of Christ, a non-denominational congregation in the Lord’s church begun on the Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2.
