Who we are
Asbury is a group a diverse individuals, different in many ways, but united under the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. We come from many different parts of the country (and beyond), have great variety in our backgrounds and interests, and even differences in the worship styles which are most meaningful to us, but we dwell together as one Body, with Jesus as our head.
We are all imperfect in many ways, but are committed to being people who are becoming more faithful as disciples of Jesus Christ. Toward that end, we seek to be people who place a great priority in our relationship with God, with each other, and with those outside our walls. We are dedicated to being people of prayer and worship as we seek to know Jesus, be built up in Him, and discern His leading for our lives.
We also are committed to being on mission with God, both close to home and throughout the whole world. That is, we desire to be obedient as God sends us out as His hands and feet, His ambassadors in the world. We recognize that faithful Christian discipleship involves both personal intimacy with God, and faithful service in the world. To that end we are determined to know Christ and to make Him known, recognizing that He is the One who invites us in, equips us, sends us out, and goes with us as we go. We seek to be Biblical in our beliefs, passionate in our worship, and sacrificial in our living. It is our serious and sincere desire to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as we love ourselves.

Abide with us
O Holy Spirit of God, abide with us; inspire all our thoughts; pervade our imaginations; suggest all our decisions; order all our doings. Be with us in our silence and in our speech, in our haste and in our leisure, in company and in solitude, in the freshness of the morning and in the weariness of the evening; and give us grace at all times humbly to rejoice in Thy mysterious companionship.
