Who we are
What kind of church are we?
Our name doesn't elude too much; and this is our most common question.
In it's simplest form - we believe Jesus to be the Son of the Living God, no one can be saved except through an active relationship with Jesus Christ and we preach the Word of God. We believe the bible is the Living Word of God.
We believe we are called to love God, love people and serve those we love.
We are a ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy. We are a Pentecostal denomination. We believe in the Word of God, the Trinity, and the full baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV). We believe that every believer is given Spiritual Gifts through the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 12:4-6 NIV)
We believe that every individual who chooses to repent of their sins and to have a relationship with Christ, not only receives salvation, but is justified by their faith in Christ. (John 3:16-17 NIV) We believe in sanctification or the initial and ongoing process of being cleansed from sinful acts and behavior; and learning to be led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1-17 NIV). We believe in Heaven and Hell and the only way to go to Heaven is to have an ACTIVE and ONGOING relationship with Jesus Christ; living a life that is pleasing to God (2 Corinthians 5:6-10 NIV).
We believe that we are called to love, pray, to go and make disciples, and to tell others about the hope and salvation that is in Jesus Christ.

Abide in my heart
Come, Lord Jesus, and abide in my heart. How grateful I am to realize that the answer to my prayer does not depend on me at all. As I quietly abide in You and let Your life flow into me, what freedom it is to know that the Father does not see my threadbare patience or insufficient trust, rather only Your patience, Lord, and Your confidence that the Father has everything in hand. In Your faith I thank You right now for a more glorious answer to my prayer than I can imagine. Amen.
