Who we are
OUR VISION
Our vision is to establish a church for Assyrians that is truly rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ and His Word. That all Assyrians would turn to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and find unity in Him. CONFESSION OF FAITH AND COMMITMENT 1. We believe in and worship the One True and Living God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Almighty Creator sustainer of all things.
2. We believe that He has spoken and that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are His Word to mankind. They reveal all that we are to believe concerning Him, His character and His purpose.
3. We believe that all people are sinners and under the wrath of God and that apart from Jesus Christ, who bore the wrath of God for us on the Cross, there is no salvation. Salvation is only through faith in Christ.
4. We believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the Son of God; He is fully God and fully Man; He was born of the virgin Mary and He lived a life of perfect obedience of the Father. We believe that He bore in His own sinless body the punishment we deserve. His substitutionary death on the cross and His bodily resurrection from the dead have made reconciliation between God and man possible. By His death He has revealed divine, love, upheld divine justice and removed our guilt.
5. We desire the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, leading us to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. we rely upon the presence and fullness of the Holy Spirit to guide us in our understanding of the Word of God and in the application of its truth in our lives.
6. We make this confession confident that Christ will return again to this world to judge mankind and to establish His kingdom. Those, who by His mercy, have been saved will enter into the presence of God for eternity but those who reject Christ will be eternally separated from God.

The Assyrian Gospel Church (Free Methodist) is now sharing BFMC facilities, meeting at 1:00 PM on Sundays. This thriving congregation is in the process of relocation and will be using our facilities. Rev. Joseph Gilyana leads this congregation reaching out to the Assyrian community.
