Bell Farm Christian Centre is a Christian Church based in the middle of the Bell Farm Estate in West Drayton, Middlesex.
Bell Farm and its neighbouring estates house around 10-11,000 people in a disadvantaged area of outer London on the doorstep of Heathrow airport. When many agencies withdrew from the neighbourhood during the 90s due to high levels of crime, particularly among young people, Bell Farm Christian Centre maintained its presence and work on behalf of local people. Now, it has become the fulcrum for the community’s life, playing a key role in renewal and development.
The story of Bell Farm Christian Centre during the difficult times of the 1990's has been recorded in a small booklet entitled "Lightening the Darkness". The story is a powerful testimony as to how God changed the situation on the estate in answer to the prayers of the church.
Bell Farm Christian Centre plays a pivotal role in helping the local community develop and grow together. Bell Farm Christian Centre provides a number of services and activities for the wider community, as a way of expressing the love of God to all people. The support and services, used by over 3,000 people each year, have encouraged many residents and families to develop personal skills and self-confidence, and learn how to help both themselves and each other. The organisation works with some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised within the community including those from the Traveller Community.
