Pastor Chad was born into a Christian home and was saved at the age of five. His father led him to Christ in their home. During his teen years, he always had a desire to serve the Lord in ministry, and hope he would have the opportunity to work in a Christian school environment, and have the opportunity to coach. After being in college in Brevard Community College, and a short time at Clearwater Christian College, Pastor Chad graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida in 2002.
Pastor Chad was married to Beth (Sawyer) Perdue on June 28, 2003. God has blessed them with three beautiful children: Anna, Emma, and Seth. His wife, Beth, is a partner with him in serving the Lord. She works with Ladies Ministry, teaching Sunday School, Nursery Director, and has taught classes and music in the Christian school.
Pastor has served in Christian school as a teacher, principal, Administrator, and coach, and served in church ministry as a bus captain, music and choir director, youth pastor, and Associate Pastor.
He became the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church on November 22, 2015.

Bethel Baptist Church History
Bethel Baptist Church was founded in October of 1957 by Clyde Green. We opened our doors on Dixon Boulevard with the name, Dixon Boulevard Baptist Church. In 1981, we moved to our current location on Michigan Avenue, and built our auditorium building. The church changed the name to Bethel Bible Baptist Church. By 1984, the school facility was built, and by 1986, the gymnasium was built.
In nearly six decades of serving this community, we praise the Lord for the godly pastors who have led our church, and the many Christian families who have made up our congregation through the years. We have the privilege of continuing this important work of telling our community about Christ.
It is our duty to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are heavily involved in reaching our community through the GROW program, and fully support world-wide missions through Faith Promise Giving. It is our desire to see people saved and see lives encouraged through this ministry.
