We are Community of Christ, a worldwide church of over 250,000 members including the Birmingham, AL congregation, which is part of the Mid-South USA Mission Center, and a member of the National Council of Churches USA. Our World Headquarters is located in Independence, Missouri.

Community of Christ (organized 1830, reorganzed 1860) has 250,000 members in more than sixty nations. The Church's mission is to "proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace." Community of Christ International Headquarters are in Independence, MO.
