Black Hills Community Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America. This Church is comprised of believers who seek to be faithful to the Word of God, obedient to the Great Commission, and faithful to the foundational Doctrines of Grace articulated in the Holy Scriptures.
We invite all in Rapid City, South Dakota, or in nearby communities, to join us for worship on the Lord’s Day as we lift our praises to the most glorious Triune God. Our Sunday worship services begin at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday Schools begin before morning worship at 9:30 a.m.

Leader Bio:
Art Sartorius was born in St. Louis, Missouri; grew up in Trotwood, Ohio; and before entering the ministry, lived in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri (Bachelor of Journalism, 1976), has a Law Degree from the University of Florida (1982), and received his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary – Orlando (2006).
Art practiced law in Jacksonville, Florida for over 20 years while raising a family with his wife, Janet. Then, sensing a call to go into full time ministry, and after graduating from seminary, he accepted a pastoral call at Black Hills Community Church in 2008 and has been serving here as the sole pastor since that time.

9:30 a.m. – Sunday School – We have both adult and children’s Sunday school starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 10:30 a.m.
10:45 a.m. – Morning Worship – Our worship starts at 10:45 a.m. during which time we have a nursery available, if desired. We do also welcome the whole family, including young children, to participate in the entire worship service.
6:30 p.m. – Evening Worship – We close the Lord’s Day in worship as well.
