Who we are
Our desire at Brant Community Church is to be accessible to people no matter where they are at in their spiritual journey. Whether you've been following Christ for many years, or are still unsure of who He is and want to check Him out, BCC is committed to being the church for when you're looking for God. As a result, when you arrive on a Sunday you will find a relaxed atmosphere without dress code.
Our hope is that you find us both inviting and friendly, but also that you find a place where you can deepen your relationship with God.
At Brant Community Church we believe that music is a vehicle by which we can worship our God. It is certainly not the only way, but it is one way as a community of faith we are able to respond to the things that God has done in our lives. We want to celebrate a diversity of sounds and styles, but most of all it is our desire to be authentic in our approach to worship. So while you'll find we lead with a band and play a set of contemporary worship songs while sometimes intergrating some older, classic hymns, our focus is less about enjoyable music and more about creating an atmosphere where we can collectively and honesly give thanks and praise to our God for who He is and what He has done for us through Christ Jesus.
Preaching on a Sunday morning is biblically based and relevant to where the Gospel of Christ intersects with our present culture. Each of us has room to grow in our faith and at BCC we believe that this is done through thoughtful interaction with God's Word, allowing it to change who we are and helping us to align our world view with the Kingdom of God.
Ultimately we hope that Sunday morning at BCC isn't just an event that you attend, but rather that, through God's Spirit, it acts as a springboard, causing growth and change in the way each of us view and live out our relationship with God, with others and with ourselves.
We also don't take a formal offering during the service. The reason for this is we believe only members are responsible for helping to support BCC, not visitors.
For your enjoyment there is also Tim Horton's coffee available in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday morning before and after the service. Feel free to help yourself!
