Broad Bay Congregational UCC Service Times
Worship Services are Temporarily Suspended
We are in a pandemic. The best thing we can do is care for ourselves and one another. We can keep those who are at greatest risk, safer by maintaining our physical distance. For that reason we are taking the recommendation of our conference minister and suspending worship and most onsite meetings for the next couple of weeks.
Sigh, (that is a prayer),
Bigger sigh--(bigger prayer).
Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We are not closing the church.
We are not stopping our ministry. I am working with Linda Brandt to create a list so that everyone will be contacted weekly to offer support and conversation. Email me if you want to make calls.
We need to suspend in person worship and larger meetings for the rest of the month AND do everything we can to care for each other and our community. AND pray together by phone, email, etc. AND pray some more. AND weep. AND give thanks. AND laugh. AND not hoard toilet paper, food, and other necessities.
It's been more than 4 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Love me, Lord, just for today
Lord, for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray; Keep me, my God, from stain of sin just for today. Let me both diligently work, And duly pray. Let me be kind in word and deed, Just for today. Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey; Help me to sacrifice myself Just for today. And if today my tide of life should ebb away, Give me thy sacraments divine, Sweet Lord today. So for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, But keep me, guide me, love me, Lord, Just for today.
