Who we are
Our Aims
Understand our vision, our goals, our hopes and aspirations as a church. Basically, why BEChurch exists and why we do what we do.
We like to keep our vision as a church simple. In everything we do we will strive to:
love God love each other love the world
In practice we seek to achieve this vision by various means, including:
meeting each week as a church to worship & glorify God and to hear the proclaimation & application of God's word, the Bible
bringing praise to God's name in the way we live our lives
meeting together to pray & read the Bible in order to encourage and build each other up.
proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to those who do not know him
helping those in our community who need help and in doing so to show the the reality of the Jesus' love in our own lives.

Buckingham Evangelical Church History
Buckingham Evangelical Church was planted by Bruce Robinson and his wife Bonnie, missionaries from the USA in 1990.
Eighteen years earlier Bruce had planted "New City Baptist Church" in Milton Keynes, now Wolverton Evangelical Church. However, once that work was established, the church there prayerfully considered planting a new church in Buckingham. At that time there was no evangelical witness in the town and local pastoral care was needed both for Christians who were travelling to Milton Keynes to find Christian fellowship and also for the increasing numbers of students coming to study at Buckingham University. And so, on Sunday 3rd June, 1990,
"Buckingham Evangelical Church was founded as an independent body of Christians to meet regularly for God's glory and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
As the church has grown in size we have changed venues to meet the needs of the congregation, having met at various time in the Chantry Chapel, the Radcliffe Centre & Well Street Centre.
Today the church meets in Bourton Meadow Academy, a local primary school on the east side of the town, but our aim is still to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
