Who we are
What we believe
Statement of faith;
We believe that true fellowship requires agreement on basic matters of faith including;
1 The sovereignty of God in creation, redemption, revelation and final judgement.
2 The Divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible, as originally written and its supreme authority on all matters of faith and conduct.
3 The Godhead eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are the one true God.
4 The universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall, making man subject to God's condemnation.
5 Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death (as our representative and substitute) of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.
6 The justification of the sinner only by the grace of God through faith in Christ, crucified and risen from the dead.
7 The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and enpowering work of the Holy Spirit.
8 The priesthood of all believers who form the universal church, which is the body of Christ.
9 The expectation of the personal, visible return of the lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

Calvary Christian Fellowship Service Times
Sunday services at Calvary
The church as a body meets together at 10.30am each Sunday. Our service begins with Praise and worship led by the worship band. This will include contemporary worship songs as well as hymns and also times of prayer. After 3 or 4 songs, children under the age of 11 will leave for creche or Sunday School.* The worship will continue and lead into the study of God's word, usually brought by our pastor, Andrew Crane. We believe teaching the whole of the word of God is central to our growth as Christians and we generally spend time going through books of the Bible chapter by chapter (Exodus, 'A Holy Nation'). Every now and then we hold 'All age worship' services where the children remain in the service throughout and we all worship and learn together.
Sunday evening services start at 6.00pm. These services are much shorter than our morning service and include worship and a short message from God's word. We do not hold a creche or Sunday School in the evening but find that our service is compact and interesting enough for all the family.
It's been more than 2 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
